Kontrabassgitarre diy Bass Guitar made by Tonus Basses

My accoustic-electric bass guitar, built at home. It's a mix of the ergonomy of a bassguitar and the sound of a Double Bass. Body and neck: walnut, Top: curly maple, Resonant-Layer: alpine spruce, Fingerboard: pao ferro, Bridge: cherry tree. The magnetic pickup is made by Harry Häussel (Germany), the preamp is homemade.
There are two film-piezo-pickups built in under the bridge too, wich cam be mixed by a paning potentiometer wit the magnetic pickup.
In the first reecording, you hear the out-of-phase-sound of the piezo mixed with a low-ohm singelcoil signal.
In the second recording, you hear a humbuckersound out the magnetic pickup mixed with a parallel in-phase signal of the piezo.

I didn't made a bill. All inclusive maybee 1000 Dollar.I don't think, building jour own Bass helps saving money, but it helps to get, wat you want.

Hallo Martin, ich habe auch einen Apple - aber einige Zeit brauchte ich - um zuerst die "Tasten" zu finden. Ich verlor viel Zeit zum Üben. Ich bin nur zufrieden, wenn ich

viel arbeiten kann.

Meine neue Gitarre kommt in wenigen Wochen. Vielleicht könntest Du mir etwas

helfen bei einer Videoeinrichtung. Ich bin ein totaler Nowbody auf dem Computer. Natürlich nur wenn Du Lust und Zeit hast.

Besten Dank für das Kompliment. Das Konzept hat jahrelang in mir gegoren, wurde mit unendlicher Geduld destilliert und mit aufwendiger Handarbeit erschaffen. Ich denke: die Arbeit hat sich gelohnt!

Das Video erstellte ich auf meinem Apple-Rechner in iMovie. Dort kann man relativ einfach Fotos aneinander reihen und einen Soundtrack dazu abspielen lassen. Die Bedienung ist recht einfach, Vorraussetzung ist jedoch ein Mac. Auf einem iPhone wäre dies wohl auch möglich.
