Rurouni Kenshin Saisen (PSP) - Ougi Exhibition

I liked the look of Kyoto Rinne better and even character art looks a little sloppy. I haven't played either game so Saisen could be more fun, but this game could have looked better. Hopefully, the rumors about the Jinchu arc OVA turn out to be true.

Well, Mayo Suzukaze is getting older so that might be a factor. There's also the fact that it seems like some of the other voice actors aren't putting a lot of effort in the first place compared to Kyoto Rinne and the series.

@PinoyKun32 perhaps but i meant even while watching the anime series in jap, i never felt the anger or seriousness of his screams. I still like it better than english dub though.

Well, I'm fine with that since what else could give Battousai and Shinsengumi Saitoh? They're mainly just an extra skin for Kenshin and Saitoh.

You'd think he would be since he feels like such a no-name compared to all the other villains, but no, he's not since he shows up in the manga as well. I personally prefer the manga depiction too.

Difference between normal Kenshin and Battousai:

Kenshin has 2 ougis Kuzuryusen and Amakakeru Ryu no hirameki

Battousai only has one-- Kuzuryusen.

Battousai is much faster, and more agile in comparisson to normal Kensin.

I was actually hoping this would be using 2D sprites, but I guess that'd be a lot of work for something like this. Still, I'm pretty disappointed that all the ultimate animations just seem to be cutscenes that don't even follow through to the battle screen after it's finished. Enjo! Kyoto Rinne definitely seemed more polished, but then they are different types of game on different consoles. I guess I can't judge this either from just this, but I liked the voices and music more in the other one.
