    To answer your question, the "bacon" was lap yuk. As you can see, there aren't any comments on this video in Chinese or Vietnamese so it was just a little bit unnecessary.

    South Chinese and Viet cuisine share similar foods like Lap cheong and Char Siu . I'm am fortunately fluent in both languages so it was wise not cause offence.
