A Car Crushing Demonstration at the Lake Stevens Aquafest Car Show

A local Auto Recycler was demonstrating his mobile car crusher, at the Lake Stevens Aquafest Car Show. A mid-50's Oldsmobile was crushed, An early 70's GM truck was crushed. A Ford Granada of unknown vintage was crushed. Oh yeah, a washer and dryer too! We only had a chance to film the Granada being crushed. With the "cash for clunkers" law starting, any vehicle traded in will be crushed, just like these cars, you will never see that vehicle again.

My bad, I posted some still images of both vehicles on Facebook, Those 2 vehicles were crushed earlier in the day. The olds was green, the truck was white. There were a lot of upset people over the crushing, me too.

@classicautofan1 I know this is a year old, but I have myeye lined up on an El CAmino, and if a bill passes to ahve all 1980s and older cars flattened, first thing I'm gonna do is take a loan, pay the 18gs in a fucking heartbeat and hide it, followed by maybe getting one of my friends, who is a Russian airline pilot, and get it flown out of there. plus me, I would never look back.
