Was it hard getting around as an English speaker?

@NewMilleniumFilm My daughter knows a little Spanish and I know a little French and I had a list of key Italian words and phrases. This information came in handy in Venice, however, Greece was a little scary because we didn't recognize any of the language. If you're worried about the language take a guided tour or excursion. The subway system in Athens is VERY confusing.

I don't have the time to watch the 4 parts, but this summer I'm also taking this ship from Venice. Does this ship goes to Bari, Mykonos, Corfu and Dubrovnik? That's what I'll be doing this summer

Just saw your video of your Greek cruise. The sunset in Venice was fantastic. We did not tour Venice because of the bad weather. I just posted the first 4 parts of our cruise on an Italian liner. We have been on Royal Carribbean on two other trips. It seemed that your video was very jerky, perhaps because the cam was handheld. I always use a monopod which helps tremendously. You might also consider using an externl mike. I find that this makes a huge difference in the audio.

I'm moderate in Spanish and will be taking French soon. I'm not into the whole tour guide leading you around to designated areas and am looking for the more independent route. Thanks for the info!

Going in May with my Mam and Dad and wife and Son and Brother to venice for a few days and then a cruise on the Splendour. can't wait. this video is really nice. Thanks for posting it.
