US Army school teaches brutality

The Trujillo Massacre was a series of murders perpetrated between 1988 and 1994 in the town of Trujillo, Valle del Cauca Department in southwestern Colombia by paramilitaries and the Cali Cartel with the complicity of active members of the Colombian military and police. After 20 years, Retired Colonel Alirio Antonio Urena was sentenced for killings carried out against various residents of the town of Trujillo. Colombia has sent over 10,000 students to the US Army institution called The School of the Americas, where it is believed they learned their brutal tactics.

The whole anti-School of the Americas propaganda effort was fabricated by the Left, not because SOA was doing anything wrong but because they were doing it right; soldiers trained there were more effective in the field against Communist insurgents and human rights violations by government troops went DOWN as US training took hold. Anti-SOA pieces like this are nothing but an "active measure" to help protect violent left-wing terrorist groups from getting their butts kicked by the good guys.

Policy in the USA was to manipulate the economy so as to ensure that 4% (1 out of every 25) of people looking for work could find none; under GHW, this was raised to 6%, then 8% (2 out of every 25 in the entire available work force) under GW. Policy = designed to fail.
