If you need to extract audio from video files or sections of audio from larger audio files, then Snapper is the application for you. Easily drag sections of audio in a file and drop them to your desktop to create mp3 files.

  • Yup. There is even a button in the shortcuts that allows you to just click on that and take it to Pro Tools.

  • I heard that you can import samples into Logic and Pro Tools from Snapper? So can I cute out a snare from a .wav drum loop by highlighting the snare and dragging it into the Logic 8 arrange window?
