Hmm, at first I thought you were quite intelligent, but once I've seen you defend your stance, I realize that it's a lot of the same old bullshit. You make a lot of strong points why communism is bad (and I agree with you, it is). But what exactly is your argument for why a completely free market system is desirable? You say that communism is bad (and you're an idiot to believe that Obama is a communist), but you fail to make an argument for why complete libertarianism is good.

I never said that complete libertarianism is the right way to go. The federal and state governments have a role in making sure that businesses do not mistreat their employees, or produce so much pollution that they destroy the environment. That having been said, the role of governments in these regards was designed to be limited, especially the federal government's role.

Given the choice between corrupt, greedy businessmen and corrupt, greedy politicians, I'll take the businessmen every time, because at least they have no real authority over people. Nobody forces you to work for anyone, or buy any particular product. You get to choose how you deal with businesses, whereas politicians can write laws that can ruin your life with taxation and/or regulation. They can also force you into military service for their own ends or seize your property for none-public use.

However rich Bill Gates may get, his wealth doesn't take a dime out of my pocket unless I decide to buy his products. The government, on the other hand, can take everything I own on a whim and give me little or nothing in return. Politicians can target particular groups of people for special treatment based upon any criteria they decide is politically expedient, and use their media propagandists to demonize me while they plot my economic ruin.

As for Obama, he is a Marxist (communist, statist - call it what you will) and he has been all his life. He surrounds himself by other "fellow travelers," speaks of the forced "redistribution of wealth" by his administration, and seeks to place as much of the private sector under federal control as possible. He insists upon repeating (even multiplying) the mistakes of FDR. What sort of madman would propose forcing the coal industry (responsible for half of our nation's energy) into bankruptcy?

@DarcPrynce Excellent you hit a nail on the head there. Here in Japan, we believe in capitalism..and to exceed in technology is what we're known for and being innovative past the norm. I once lived in the U.S. from 2000-2008 and I guess I just left right in time before everything just crashed to shit with Obama in the White House lol.

I can tell you why he wants the Coal Industry to fail, to help collapse the country under its own fiscal burden. Cap and Tax will be the final nail in the coffin. He'll be that much closer to a "global monetary unit" rather than the dollar. Then a "global economy", and finally a "global gov't". It's an ideology, that if not defeated, will come to pass in the next 50 or so years...
