Good question. In any case, we have not 'warmed' in 13,000 years and in fact, may have cooled by a .01 degree or so, but man made C02 is NOT the cause... nor is C02 pollution! It's necessary for LIFE!

global warming is real. it's just never been proven that it has anything to do with people. GW has more to do with money and political power than anything. Already we're seeing multiple bills in congress that propose mountains of new regulations and taxes. I'm all for keeping the environment clean. But not at the expense of common sense. The private market is already handling this, we're seeing everything from hybrids to tankless hot water. Gore just wants money and power... that's it.

Can someone please explain to me a couple of things...If global warming is the truth, why is Al Gore afraid to debate the issue? I would think that if he were totally confident of his views, he would have no trouble beating the competition in a debate. And why have 31,000 scientists (very reputable, I might add at major universities) signed a statement disputing global warming? Most importantly, why do the global warming activists try to stifle all debate in general? Is this tyranny?

I think it is around 150 F.....  212 F is a little too hot. In the latter case, all of mankind could move to the Antarctic which would, on average, be cooler.
