I would guess that made the planes heating bill go way up. Colorado is very cold.

@cyprixx They can suck you in. There was an incident on a carrier deck where one of the people got sucked into a jet engine. Luckily, the pilot reacted the the 'foreign object alarm' in time and his helmet protected him.

@cyprixx errr I beg to differ, it's all down to the luck of the draw but chances are if you fly out of the aircraft and are heading in the direction of the engine it is ikely you will be minced. One of the stewardesses on the TWA 800 flight was alleged to have gone down the engine or so it was reported.
Losing a door mid-air is no minor incident, it's really major.
Cabin pressure is your least worry.

Now there's a big difference between between a door opening in a Cessna, and a door *falling off* of a passenger aircraft.
A flying door might damage other parts of the plane.
