@Ahmetal I've seen some people soaking/dehydrating their raw almonds prior to blending them, saying it helps them break down into butter easier without needing extra oil.

@VeganGirl1011 need to be more specific, 8 Fluid Ounces in 1 cup, he might be using weight so that would be 16 Ounces is 1 Pound.

Hi mate thanks for the video! I just got a blendtec, and I want to make almond butter but it didn't happen the same as your video. Are you using the normal container, large container, or a container with with a grain blade? Also, do you soak + dry your almonds first, or use raw almonds (i.e. how do you prepare the almonds?) Thanks!

@jolls72 Use a online converter just google it, that's what I did, I live in Aus and don't know what a ounce is myself or if you have an iphone they have some cool free converter apps

uhh i failed making this. i blended some roasted almonds til they were butter and then decided to add some olive oil to c how it would turn out and i ended up with almond soup.
