@Thrillanthropist Not gaboons. They do have supposedly the largest fangs (though I have some habus that would give them a run for the money) but their glands are not as large as you might think, and their yield is pretty small for such a large snake.

@iHacksorzz I don't think so, though they are certainly up there. Some snakes that are smaller have larger glands, and vice versa.

@reptile202 The most we have gotten out of a rattlesnake is a little over 2g dry weight-- maybe 5cc? For a cobra it is a bit less.

@kyreptilezoo Would it not be the Gaboon Viper? I thought they had the largest venom glands, and fangs for that matter. They certainly have the largest heads of any viper.

I can't believe this video. The safety of the procedure looks minimal at best. If I want to see my wife at night every day, I would make serious changes to the extraction technique.
