You do know you are describing late-term aobrtions.. the rarest and, for the most part, illegal abortion, right? 99% of all abortions occur in the first trimester- when you eat a pill or two and pass out a wad of jelly the size of a friggin' pea or smaller. Yeah, I admit LTAs happen, but most of them are for serious reasons. Doing the numbers, yeah, a lot of them happen, but they are still a rarity considering ALL #s and circumstances.

@ryddelwearsahat perhaps she had been so so changed by the accident that she did not know what she was saying sometimes. I don't know the extent of her injuries mental or physical but am guessing that she was left in some way changed by the accident and then to find out she was pregnant on top of that was not a cause for joy for her. When we are deeply hurt we can all say things we don't really mean, our emotions come out sideways.
