I just came back from the Totus Tuus Conference in Familyland where Cardinal Arinze spent no less than 4 days, so there is a lot of footage to share. Let's start off with the first part of a Q&A session with Cardinal Arinze. You'll notice his high energy level as he evaluates the questions before answering them. Stay tuned for more episodes very soon. (www.arinzewebcast.com)

  • Friends invite you over for a meal, you show up & eat in fellowship. In my case, I'm a veggie so I'd not eat meat.

No problem: my friends are aware of that, and they always make sure there are plenty of vegetables, fruits, and grains.

May we eat food cooked by Buddhists? My God. Are you THAT afraid of our Heavenly Father that He'll condemn you for accepting an

invitation from someone of another faith?

God is in no way like that. Please cut yourself a little slack.

  • What amuses me about the black animals and food questions is someone actually thought the questions were relevent enough to be asked and then the audience held their breath until they were answered and only then laughed.

Life is so much easier when others do your thinking for you...

  • Arinze is an apostate.

  • Holding hands during the Pater Noster. Never done prior to the liturgical "renewal" of the 60s and 70s. Furthermore, the "orans" position is reserved for the priest only, not for the laity.

  • My fortune cookie says I'm going to Hell. :D

  • @mazuera omnipotence means that God can do everything but the intrinsically impossible. if you say that god cannot create a rock so big that he can not carry it, you ahve succeeded in saying nothing about God at all :)

  • Well, its pretty bad that I have eaten food ridden with sin. Nxt time I eat chinese food, I better make sure it goes to confession!

  • Ha ha ha ha!

  • Why don't you carry a bottle of holy water for sprinkling any food touched by Satan? and by bacteria?

  • It's easy. He's omnipotent, so after he had created the rock He is able to carry it when He wants to, when He wants to be unable to carry it He's unable.
