@monarch1957 Yeah. Why can't they leave Well enough alone for more than a year. I might move too. Youtube has me REALLY angry at the moment. The new homepage is nice, but the channels and the new "privacy" policy (yeah, more like UN-privacy policy) just STINK! Please, Google, Do something nice for once and GIVE BACK THE OLD YOUTUBE!

I gave them info already because of adsense, when you filled out the partner ID form. It doesn't really matter much, as they have to know info to sent check or direct deposit and who they are senting it to.
Thw only other reason I can see them doing this for non partners is for "copyright infringement", so the music groups and movie company can get info, if they need to sue you for infringement, if they need to!!

I am pissed off with Google/YouTube for this. Asking for all our personal stuff little by little, forcing us more and more. Things seem to get worse and worse. I did put my birthday, gender and age, no problem, but I don't want them calling me or texting me. I am already flooded with "YouTube Service" emails which are useless to me. What more info will they ask for? I am curious.

@CassetteMaster Yeah I'm the same as you, I don't want to give them my phone number and have them call me, and what's worse is they can find out a lot of things from your phone number like your address. I might just give them a fake number if that can be done...
