@rarkai so true your comment i started thinking that i had ordered the wrong screen then it dawned on me what the little sticky bits were for and realised i had to use part and of the broken screen. So felt really chuffed at myself when i achieved that after 1/2 hour. After all that i couldn't get the cables together and now stuck with a broken iPhone and 18th month contract left!! Video helped though a great deal

@mrc941 yes, but you need a different kit, I'd go to amazon.com, I got a repair kit for only a few dollars and repaired my iPhone good as new
