  • If Greenpeace want to make themselves useful, they need to go after wind farm NIMBY's and their incessent lies against wind power.

  • I bet it's toasty warm up there ? I could do some protesting this time of year :D

  • tbh you did absolutely nothing to affect the running of that power station. All you really gained was getting on a couple of peoples nerves. What you should have done was climbed those black flue cans at the top, and then you would have really got a feeling for the carbon dioxide coming out the top, and it would have been at 120 degrees C. Maybe that would have knocked some sense into you

  • Come on then whats your solution. Because clearly your all the experts not the Engineers. I’m fascinated to here your answer!!

  • freaks

  • Yep, it's the one where the jobshy from places like leeds were very green and travelled all the way down to Didcot to pretend they had an inkling about energy needs and the balance of nature.

  • was this the one where the retard hippies tried to take over the station and failed?

  • these protesters are seriously missing brain cells if they thought that would work they only sucseded in making themselves look like brainless idiots what a waste of time

  • Now, I've only had a tiny look at the base of that stack, but I fail to see HOW the protesters have "secured" it! Locked doors? Unlock them! Chains? Cut them. The protester abseiling DOWN the flues (which I think they did) is another matter, but without their mates supply them with food and water, they won't last long. It's a 199 metre concrete cylinder with stairs up the inside, not fort Knox!

  • ps mind that last step bit of a drop.
