Lived in Flint my entire life, 50 yrs, and Flint used to be a beautiful city-what happened? when GM went under a lot of the hard working middle class left, a lot of people in Flint do not intend to ever work for a living, and not because of the economy-this same shit has been going on for yrs. give me free food/shelter/clothing and I will rob, panhandle and do what it takes to get my drugs and booze while I let the kids I create terrorize the neighborhood; Flints in the sewer where it will stay

@ThePurpleGang I know..How is the pastor gonna make his Yacht payment and feed people at the same time. She's never gonna get it. She needs to open her own church and rob people of their hard earned money and get rich herself so she will understand. Nearly every church in the U.S. spends 2% of their collections..Isn't that enough? Damn people are greed. I got a Porsche to pay for and they wanna eat..Sheesh! LOL...Is that what you are saying?

yes they are right the younger crowd is what is bringing flint down and my generation (im 35) that are not raising these kids. WAKE UP AMERICANS ONLY WE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN OUR YOUTH.

@ThePurpleGang I agree with you, it's not the churches responsibility to change the mind set of the community. Their only goal should be to lead the people of the community towards God. As far as homeless shelters, that comes down to how much Flint's community and surrounding communities want to lend a hand. Homeless shelters are based off of donations. So people who have money to spare need to spare it to the less fortunate.

Yes, it's terrible that some homeless people have nowhere to go, and the mission only takes them for 30 days. But That's how it is, food and shelter aint free, and churches cant support everyone who neeeds help forever. That black woman with 1 tooth doesn't seem to realize that...
