  • @evnwood Actually, I'm not sure why I (or if I intented to) reply to your comment, but it read like a stand alone comment. It's not obvious if you're replying to someone else or not.

  • @jimbobeire Your point? I've worked with 3d studio max, maya, and lightwave....so i know what CGI is,but thanks for assuming whatever you assumed...

  • @jimbobeire Fair point I didnt think like that, I just wrote on impulse i think without thinking it through lol but yeah what you say makes sense. thanks:)

  • @evnwood It's a simulation of course. How could the earth be lit up, and yet the sun appears behind it? Another clue, the earth doesn't rotate that fast, so if this was real, it would be sped up, yet the clouds do no change at all. That and the direction of rotation is off. It's all a CGI package. Most footage from space is only a few hundred miles up, not high enough too get more than a fraction of the whole planet into the viewfinder.

  • @kellymooey perspective. Why does a plane at 35,000 ft not seem to 'whizz' by, and yet when you're at the airport watching it take off, it seems to be going much faster? Because it's much closer. The angular change is not very large because of the distance, that's why. Didn't you ever notice distant objects from a train window?

  • @kitchenfromhell holy fucking shit i did.........

  • ahh good old earth where i used to live =)

  • @Undeterminable

Exactly! You will not find it anywhere because real footage does not exist. The best you'll ever find is some real looking animations. As I've said in my previous comment, "We've all been conned."

  • @useful777 And let me know when you can spell properly you fanny plaster.

  • We live in the year 2012 and I am yet to see real life footage of the earth turning. This is ridiculous!

If you have seen the earth turning for real please tell me where and how so I can see it for myself. Thank you.
