Relief delivered to 500 starving horses

Fending for themselves without food or water for a month outside of Billings, Montana, nearly 500 horses are now being cared for. On February 1, 2011, American Humane Association's Red Star Animal Emergency Services™ delivered a check for $20,000 and assisted in bringing hay to these beleaguered animals. But supplying food was only the first step on the road to recovery. As the horses legal status is in limbo, our Animal Emergency Services is poised and ready to come to the aid of any animal suffering from neglect or abuse.
