I just bought one in 9mm, Pick it up on Valentines day! I'm looking forward to it. I also choose the Sigma over p95 for the ergonomics and overall simplicity. The trigger wasn't even as bad as people make it seem. Those people don't have experience with this gun.

i own this in 9mm and i love it.its very accurate and a solid gun.

Great vid!! I own the SD40 but plan on getting the sigma in 9mm. I don't mind heavy triggers. Just a little safer to me.

Just bought the 9mm and love it!

Nice video, I reviewed the sigma 40ve myself. I love the dang thing, And most of all ITS MADE IN THE USA. Keep it up.

@SonsOfLiberty65 i have owned glocks and hated them. i love both my sigmas. i have the 9mm and .40. would never own a glock again.paid $299+tax each on sale at gander mtn here.

Great video, I plan on getting mine in 9mm next week.

@millerusaf Just an update, based upon your review (and a hands-on side-by-side comparison of the two) I finally decided to go with the SW9VE. So far, it's been AWESOME. Fits my hand like a glove, especially with a Hogue Handall slip-on grip added, and it carries wonderfully in a Remora holster. (I did round off the pointy corners on the magazine baseplate, though, to keep it from snagging my shirt during a draw.) Thanks again for this vid!

i dont know why people buy the sigmas for like 200 bucks more you can get a glock which is 10000000000000000000000 times better

I have this gun, i bought it when i turned 21, my first pistol. I love the way it feels in my hands. I plan on getting my ccw and making this my carry gun. I bought my for 300 it came with everything and a box of 50 rounds. As far as the trigger i modified mine (watched a few vids on here) droped it down to six lbs. I was wondering what holster you use to carry this and if you could post a vid so i can see it being carried so i can get an idea, of whats the best way to do so.

I plan in buying this sometime this month hopefully. I still think there should have been a safety, at least a grip safety
-
I think that pistol is better than the hi-point that you had a video about.
-
Love this gun, good caliber good brand and so similar to glock that it will be a crime not to buy it, the triger doesn't bother me at all, the front sight might be the only thing that would change.

The Sigma and the Ruger P series are both great guns for the money, but with the newer S&W SD, and the Ruger SRs available, it's kinda hard for me to justify not saving up a little more and getting something even better. Not that the older designs don't work well, but their newer cousins have definite improvements without a big jump in price. All of these are great, very reliable guns that are within most peoples' budgets. Hooray for technology.

I almost bought one of these when they had the fifty dollar rebate, but I heard such horrible things about them, I didn't get it. Glad to see this video, cause a buddy of mine got one and he absolutely loves it. Thumbs up Miller!

@millerusaf Nice video, and you are right, this is a very nice firearm for the price. I own the 9mm version and I am very satisfied with it. I have not had any problems with it, and the accuracy is good. Trigger pull is no problem, it will pass as long as you get enough range time.
-
Great budget gun and great vid! I for one love my Sigma.
I just uploaded a comparison vid between this and Ruger P95... both great inexpensive pick ups. Again, great vid.
-
Come on sailor! You need to conceal carry a 500 mag.
-
@tmitch965 I'm showing how budget priced firearm can perform rather well for the price. My Century AK build can shoot accurately out to 500 meters with no problems. My Hi-Point run rather well for me, and the Sigma is an underrated firearm (same design as the Glock).
Check out some of my other "higher grade" firearms I have in some of my vids.

@millerusaf i dont mean any offense, but for instance hipoints, century builds (albeit there are century builds that are fine out there), the sigma etc. are "shitty" when compared to other options out there in terms of quality, reliability (in some cases), and accuracy (as far as long arms go). i just always wonder why quantity when you can save for a bit then get something "quality." i had typed out a longer, rational response, but ran out of room-guess ill leave it at this. to each their own

sigmas r gr8 guns. if sigmas were not good (like the haters claim), then why r they still selling so well? the moral of the story is: buy the pistol that suits u (i.e performance, price, purpose, etc) & not just what the so-called "xperts" say u should buy. if there was a "perfect" pistol, then there wouldn't b so many brands of firearms!
Hey Miller, now that you've posted reviews of both the Ruger P95 and S&W Sigma, and since they're often compared against one another (being at about the same price point and all), which of the two do you personally prefer? Given, I know this is a .40 S&W version shown here, but aside from caliber, does either pistol stand out for you as being a better value than the other?

@darkwriter77 Between the two I have to go with the Sigma. The ease of use, slimmer profile, and better feel in my hand puts it ahead of the Ruger P95 (only slightly).
