@spongysnake Look again closely. their is a line of blood spraying where Vicious slices across Spike's stomach, in affect disembowing spike, hence why he's holding his stomach when he shuffles down the stairs. They basically killed each other at the same time, just a testament to the inner fortitude of Spike to walk a few more steps.

@infernai The thing is for almost all of the characters you said (apart from lucy because she was the most unlikeable characters in any medium) death was probably the best way for the characters to go. Especially Snake and Spike who are very similar as all they lived for was to see their rival die and their loved one again so when they had both done that what would they have done from there? how could anyone move on from that? Their deaths marked an end and i wouldn't have it any other way...

@infernai I always love villians. To me they are the main reason of a story to exist. And this kind of endings are the ones i like. Dont take wrong the words, spike is awesome. But the villian cant be forgotten just by all the good guys laughing at a silly joke ant the end. He did his stuff also during all the show. And even when defeated, they must leave a mark. Everything points to a better place without Vicious, but anyway the damage was done. That´s the way life is also. This end is epic.

I hate endings like this. Characters i grow to adore are always the ones to die. It's as if authors everywhere have some grudge against me that they just can't let go of..Caim, Lucy, Snake, Rorscach, Wolfwood and now Spike to, how many more? I'm starting to wander why i even let myself like any character in anything anymore...*sigh*
