After completing her first placement at the Movement Strategies Center, Julia Rhee has begun working at Youth Together, a community-based organization that responds to interracial conflicts and violence in our schools. Youth Together addresses the root causes of educational inequities by developing multiracial youth organizers and engaging school community allies to promote positive school change. In this video, Julia discusses her work experience at the Movement Strategies Center and the impact YP4 has had on her own professional development and the progressive movement.
The Leadership Academy is a 10-month program that includes two paid fellowship placements. The Leadership Academy supports and empowers visionary, entrepreneurial young people to have leadership roles in the progressive movement and strengthens our progressive infrastructure by connecting new and established progressive organizations with innovative and talented emerging young leaders.
