Actually, check the travel advisories. The US's is pretty vague, but Australia's report last year warned of intelligence of possible attacks on island resorts north of Mindanao (Siargao!). I don't want to scare off people, as my family would actually lose money with lost tourism, but PI really is a pirate/terrorist/guerilla paradise. And it's not just in the South. I was warned not to carry GPS when in Samar! That's because there seems to be a rise in "revolutionary" activities the last month.

$500 to know where it is? It's Mindanao, home of NPA & Abu Sayef guerrillas. Which weren't too much of a worry until last month when 200+ attacked foreign owned businesses not too far away. (Attacking in N. Mind was a shock to PI). If you go exploring, you better go with a local guide, as there's road blocks asking for "revolutionary taxes". And have taken up kidnapping foreigners for ransom. (Check the PI news, which btw only reports a small portion of terrrorist/guerialla attacks).

@racer7nevercrashes (for the record) I didn't operate a 'PI charter biz' for profit or out of necessity. It was a lifestyle choice for a couple of years to discover never before ridden breaks around the Philippines while getting some of the costs covered by pro-surfers and their sponsors. The multinational pro surfers would charge anything and provided prospective of other great waves around the world. We had epic adventures on dozens of trips from Borneo to Taiwan and it was worth it.

i know where it is. But since I don't want karma to kick me in the ass about my secret spot in another chain of islands. I won't say. But it's not like the place is consistent, as the uploader already admitted. And by posting that, that's lost money for his PI charter biz.So, you gotta know how bad it can get. So, beware! I have family in PI & it's such a shame the best spots aren't even coinsistant like ______. But go, explore, see for yourself. Just realize that it's not a fantasy wave park.

im sorry but it seems to be in Samar. sectionless point. correct me if im wrong scott.

This isn't the Philippines! Scott is drumming up business for his dwindling surf safari cruises in PI. He took those pics from Indo, with his buddy slam quoting his well rehearse lines. Looks like Indo.........No surf in PI, as per his posts. FicKleppines. No money either. Starting a yacht business in PI doesn't make sense, unless you are married to a Filipino. No money......

This isn't the Philippines!
looks good but surfers beware, the Philippines is far, from everything and very inconsistent. It's not a safe bet for finding waves. Ever see the movie "Groundhog Day"? It's like that, day after day is the same: NO waves. NO waves. NO waves.

Very true. I've waited for months at a time for any kind of surf. Even during the right 'season' you can be drydocked for weeks. phlat. . fickleppines. . I've heard all the nicknames.

this spot has been surfed by so few - what motivates you to broadcast it to the world ? let those who have kept quite for so long and who put in the effort enjoy the treasure. keep you mouth, camera and p.c. to yourself -
your idea of providing "a little stoke" is warped and only opens the gates to over exposure and totally screwing it up.......

. . . I've also seen and surfed at least another 50 spots around Souteast Asia as good or better than this spot with no one ever out. I'm a retard when it come to remembering to take pictures- besides what makes you think I have (or will ever) share the best spots?
