This is a great clip with two legendary groups going back/forth singing each others hits. Florence definately held it down for the Supremes dispite Diana's on stage shenanigans. I LOVE all three Supremes but when Diana behaves in this manner it just makes all those nasty things said about her seem true.

When Flo was let go from the Supremes the group really suffered in harmony because Flo's top soprano wasn't there. Cindy looked great but she couldn't add that strong soprano Flo gave. Mary had to sing stronger to make the background sound like something during their live shows. Though I liked Cindy Flo was truly missed.

Flo's problems began in 1960 with Reggie Harding. There wasn't oua thing anyone could do to remedy that. Not Mary or Berry or Diana. RIP Miss Flo....we love you

Enough of the poor flo bull. It is what it is. None of us know the accurate details and I am certain that flo played a significant part in her demise. As far as "true singing". Ill just say....you like what you like. Bottome line. They made a great decision placing Diana as lead.  Perhaps that is why many still pay to see her all over the world to this day. Get over it and let Flo rest in peace.

There ya go! Hopefully this will shut those up (including Motown) who claim Flo wasnt a great lead singer. Wish things would have been different throughout their history. But Flo your voice and energy live ON!

Diana was known to do this in the early years as told to Flo by one of Ed sullivans stage hands as to block out Mary and Florences face.She wasnt as innocent as some of her fans what to think.Even her starting a fight with a very pregannt Florence to get her thrown out of Gordy's party as told by Flo inher interviews on this site.I hope she sleeps well at night.
