omgheatherface got the marvelous idea of getting people who are fluent in other languages to post videos in them. I decided to do one in Spanish and French, since I am fluent in both.

Translation:
(Spanish) Hello Heather, my name is Carlos and I'd like to answer your video because it seemed very interesting to me. So much so, that I set it as one of my favorites.
First of all, congratulations on your video. I am a huge fan of languages, and for that reason, it pleases me to see that there are people in this world who are interested in languages (or learning them), since language-learning is a door (or it opens doors) to human knowledge and coexisting. Since I feel a little hippie today... I'll teach you the word "hippie", which is pronounced and written just like in English. So there you go! an easy one. But, since I feel a little hippie, I wanted to teach you the word "hermano", which means brother. And, it's a very important word, because I believe in the world's brotherhood... so there you have that one.
And, the second part that I want to make in this video is in the other language that I speak skillfully, which is French.
(In French)
So, I wanted to speak French to you because I want to show you that it is possible to learn other languages. Even if you don't have a perfect accent, you can learn and speak. I went to France this summer, and it was wonderful because it was the first time that I've been to a culture that is completely different to mine. I arrived in the United States when I was little and American culture is very popular in the rest of the world. SO that's why I chose this language: To show you that languages open doors in order for you to learn useful things in life... In order for everybody to learn how to live together. Also, I wanted to teach you a phrase in French that will be very useful to you. It's: "Merci d'avoir vu mes vidéos" (Thanks for watching my videos. Once again: merci d'avoir vu mes vidéos. So, that's what I wanted to show you... thanks a lot. I hope you make more videos. Goodbye.

  • OMG Spanish is sexy!!

  • lol I don't hear that too often. Most people in Texas hear it all the time, so it's no novelty.

  • it sounds better if you said:

Merci d'avoir Visoné mes/ma videos ou mon clip video...etc...

  • merci

  • @millos71 I'm an English speaker, but I'm currently majoring in Spanish at my university and spent a semester in Spain and by now the novelty of Spanish has kind of worn off, but I'm still fascinated with it and I STILL think it's SEXY!
