@WolfgrowlofTacoClan Census records, which the British have kept copious and detailled amounts of for nearly nine and a half centuries, our time, would've accounted for Sebastian's life and disappearance. Also, the Jack the Ripper case continues to generate interest even in our century, and, I imagine, in the 23d as well, giving Sheridan plenty of info to go on.

@Danie855 Funny, given that one of the familiar forms of John is Jack....

@Danie855 The whole episode is epic, I have to admit it's probably my favourite episode to date, but then I haven't watched all of them yet. The part after the trial was great too "Diogenes and his lamp, looking for a good man willing to die for the wrong reasons."

Is Sheridan saying 'west' when he reference the East End of London? It looks like it was dubbed in.

The most chilling and prophetic end speech ever on B5.

Those are some good records for 1888...

I must have seen this episode 100x and that scene still puts a chill down my spin real or not the thought of that son of a bitch still alive is enough to give anyone nightmares.

I took me a little while longer. Once he meantioned the string of murders I freaked out, and shivered violently. I remember I had trouble sleeping that night...
that was chilling when he started to speak.." remembered not as a messenger, remembered not as a reformer, not as a prophet, not as a hero, not even as Sebastian..remembered only as ..Jack" that was downright scary.
