In the heart of America's beautiful Southwest, Farmington, New Mexico is surrounded by world-class cultural treasures and magnificent landscapes. www.farmingtonnm.org
Classic example of chamber of commerce bullshit meeting REALITY. Farmington is the most godforsaken town in America. I loved there 20 years and am so glad I escaped. Half the stuff on this video is in Colorado or otherwise OUTSIDE Farmington. The Holiday Inn isn't even there anymore.
I've been here for 6 months (moved from Baltimore) its really sucks here if your the type thats a social butterfly and need constant stimulation....however if your into more of a slower pace of living, and actually enjoying your quality of life, then its ok in that sense.....I cant lie though...it is a bit (and thats me being "democratic about it) racist though.
Is this true that famington sucks? because in the video it seems very nice. with a lot of green, trees, water, rivers lakes. is it very bad conserved? i mean is it very polluted?

I lived there for a couple of years and I agree with most of the comments here. It is a prejudice, illiterate, depressing cesspool of a town. Also something not mentioned is the fact that it has the highest cancer rate in the country, ask any insurance provider. The air pollution is awful, drunk drivers everywhere and not much to do.
Farmington has to be one of the worst places I've ever seen. (Yes I live here). Somehow the people in the area took one of the most spectacular natural landscapes and turned it into one of the biggest shitholes in the United States. It has the culture of Yellowstone combined with the pollution of Jersy City. Last vacation I took to Navajo lake a woman was strangled to death. Farmington's a real gem!
As long as your outdoors, farmington isn't that bad at all.
