  • History of development? Hardly! "We went from Schwinns like this.. to modern bikes like this". Oh what a genius! Nothing whatsoever about development. From full rigids, to hardtails with shocker forks, to full sus. From steel to aluminium to titanium, From centrepull to V-brakes to hydraulic disc brakes. From thumbshifters to gripshifters to modern quad-levers. From quill stems to a-heads. You can give a great insight into development in 3 minutes. This guy said basically nothing much at all.

  • Friend, first of all let me say thanks for making this video. But what you said in this video is NOT AT ALL TRUE. To cut the long story short, mountain bike evolved from BMX. The were BMX races on the dirt road and many other activities. Then people needed more speed, rougher terrains and that's why MTB came about. That's it. When MTB first appeared, i remember a lot of people calling them the big BMX. They look exactly the same except for the gear.
