  • I have a 2UZ out of a 2001 Tundra and I'm going to put it in my 93 Toyota. I see that you used the factory ecu but for the wiring harnesses, what did you do there? I have the whole harness, the engine side and even the inside cab harness. Did you use both of them? What did you do in order to get this to run?

  • @srvanddt1

I make my own adapter harness using bits and piece of the original cruiser motor, and connectors from the vehicle the 2UZ came from. I don't cut into the LC body harness if I can help it.

  • I am using factory LX470/Landcruiser transmission with the 1991 landcruiser transfercase. T-case bolted right to the transmission.

  • You using the oem transmisión and the addapters for conversion You made thanks

  • @ERICOPISTON

Originally yes, but the tranny couldn't handle the extra power, so I opt for the 5 speed auto that came from a 2005 LX470.

  • nice.

were you running the factory 2UZ ECU or aftermarket?

  • @teqland

    Stock ecu
