firefox is the biggest piece of shit out there. npviewer.bin is constantly hogging memory. the biggest problem with fuckfox is that they make it seem as if it gonna be so great, but it sucks. but, just to point out, there is no such thing as a good browser- all of them suck shit except for dillo

i like privoxy , you can setup other applications to use privoxy , you properly are using it also :)
