  • How do you get propane to burn that hot?

  • with a homemade jet carburetor....simple to make...a 10" steel pipe 3/4...1/4 inch holes drilled in....mabey 6..then take a capped 1/4 steel pipe..at one end..the other end... goes to the gas....drill a tiny hole in the middle of this...drill a hole in the 3/4 pipe at the end, to hold the 1/4, with the tiny hole, pointing down the center of the barrel..a set screw, to hold it, remove the regulator from propane

  • they have 2 grades...2300 degrees F. =1300 C.

    3000 degrees F. =1649 C.

they may have other grades...i run my furnace at well above 1800 F. 980C...hundreds of times...it doesnt break down...for a home foundry...you don't need to get hotter than that
