Another MCS tune I made back in 2004. The theme song for Tiny Toon Adventures. MCS is a notation program written in 1984 that ran on original 8088-based PC's and had special support for Tandy 1000/PCjr 3-voice polyphony... no MIDI here! Just raw retro computing musical madness! Enjoy! Check out my other videos for more retro-computer music!
could you coad some barney songs in MCS? Bella and I are huge barney fans even though I'm 18 years old...

So THIS is the original Music Construction Set. I made a lot of arrangements on Deluxe Music Construction Set on the Amiga back in the '80s and early '90s (including the Animaniacs theme). I converted some into MIDI (MIDI output from the Amiga into a PC MIDI sequencer), but wish I had done more because now I'm not even sure I could remember how to boot the Amiga! And Amiga emulation is useless because the floppy drives are hardware-incompatible with the PC's (Amiga drives are more advanced!).

It is called Music Construction Set. It is a PC music notation and design program that was written back in 1984! When I was a kid I was given this as a gift and I've been hooked since... I created this using the DOSBox emulator. No it's not midi, this is WAY before midi made it into the average home LOL!
