There's also a dutch myth about "bokkenrijders" though, which would be called goatriders in english. Them calling it a horde, instead of a single goatrider would make me believe it's about them. The goatriders were satanic brigands though, they weren't nearly as heroic as the lyrics of this song. So I could be wrong.

None of this matters for their genre of course

@getwisteerd viking metal is not a type of black metal, as i believe i said, it is with power metal. which is usually lyrics about mythological things. Destroy the orcs, is a great example of power and viking metal.
