I remember having to learn this for my Black Belt graduation. It took a lot more training than I ever thought it would to get the synchronization just right.

Work on the coordination of the Hyung and the music. If Grandmaster Rhee or Master Michael Coles were there during your pre-test evaluation, you would have had to wait to test for your Black Belt! Other JRI students know what I mean! This form represents leaving under belt into Black Belt. Those who tested under the Grandmaster Rhee and Master Coles , who was his head instructor, would concur that you would not passed on to your Black Belt test:)

Nice. Looked u almost pulled a 1 legged on your first tornado kick there. My only recommendations are fold your leg in more, before throwing your sidekicks, and bring your leg ALL the way back in after. And bring your hand all the way back before and after your throw your punches. Your punch should thrown from your shoulder not your chest. That's what we call "LAZY". You just need a little fine tuning.

I remember going to schools where the forms were just made up and had some meaning to make it fun. Sorry buddy.

Hey Abdul! This looks amazing. I went by the TT location last summer... sad to see it go. So many good memories there. Great job on this form (as always)! Jessica

Wow brother, you perform this kata A LOT faster than we do! LOL. Looks great though!

This is my favorite form in the whole wide world and then its bethoveen!!! The secret to doing this form is to be dramatic with the music. Sharp moves are not everything with this form if you are not on beat that is why they call it a musical. Make the form sing with the music!

I have a 2nd Dan under Santa Maria from Killeen Texas.
One thing I always valued as a Jhoon Rhee student, was that he did everything with class.
No silly shit, he is ultra aggressive in his teachings, and is no nonsense.
I always appreciated that growing up taking "TKD".
But then when I grew up, entered other fighting systems, you put into perspective things that you learned as a kid "Doing TKD", vs. kickboxing, etc. as an adult.
Great vid. I saw Master Rhee do this form when he was 71.
Hey where did you learn this form from?

Where was this at and when? Was Grand Master Rhee there? Definitely looks different then what the JRI schools are doing here in the DC area. Good job.
