Charlottesville Ladies Arm Wrestling Pit Bull v Sparkles

May 13, 2008. A best two out of three arm wrestling match at the monthly Charlottesville Ladies Arm Wrestling (C.L.A.W.) event held at the Blue Moon Diner. CLAW events raise money for women-initiated causes in the Charlottesville (VA) community. Funds from this event benefited the Charlottesville Derby Dames. The Charlottesville Derby Dames are proud to be Charlottesville, VA's first all-female, skater-owned, flat track roller derby league. Their goal is to empower women by fostering athleticism, self-worth and friendly competition to promote their physical, mental and social health. This match features the "Pit Bull" versus "Sparkles".

The Pit Bull was reigning arm rasslin' champion on Cell Block D and was given her name after an unfortunate biting incident. Since her parole, she's been pursuing a career in ballroom dancing, but has decided that there's just not enough blood involved.
