It surely shows that the face of America has changed, and it will continue to change. Do remember that not quite two decades ago, the Democratic party was considered to be on the outside looking in.

I'm predicting that we could see something of a rebirth of the conservative Democrats. I don't see where the Republicans have done much to reach out to people they've alienated. The mid-term elections will not help them much., but that will also depend upon how well the Democrats play their cards.
