In the early days, Phil used an E-bow for those long legato intro lines but since its such a pain, he opted for the Floyd Rose Sustainer after trying out the Fernandez sustainer and the other (can't remember the name now). I have an Ebow and its really only useful once in a song since you have to hold onto it.

Wow I hate that song!(worse than Run Riot even) BUT you sir, play it awesome!!!!!! And yeah, you should do a cover of 'GO'....mostly so I can figure out how to play past the intro :P

You're the best Def Leppard cover guitarist on youtube. How do you get your tone so much like theirs? What kind of guitars would you suggest to replicate what Phil's PC-1 does with the sustainer? I can't find one anywhere locally and even if I could, I'm not about to trade in a car just to get it, lol.

Thanx DJ. I know what you mean about the PC1 unfortunately i've never seen anything that matches it, perhaps someone out there knows different? I'm just going through a Zoom digital combo with overdrive and a bit of reverb.

Awesome stuff. Are you planning on covering "Go"? Its an awesome song and I think its DL's heaviest song.
