This is part of the course-work of a Sheffield Hallam University broadcast journalism student (2008-09). Enjoy the short video feature about Sheffield's "secret" museum. Its doors open to public only on the last Saturday of every month! The museum on Ecclesall Road houses exhibits and mock-ups that are a throwback to the early 20th century. It's a tribute to the ordinary people who lived in Sheffield during those good old days. Please note: Names of the interviewees that appear in captions are NOT real. This aspect needs an explanation. Here goes: When the video was produced, it was never intended to be published in the public domain such as YouTube. Due to a mix-up, notes containing names of the interviewees were lost. Since the video had to be produced and submitted before a certain deadline, and since the interviews were impromptu, there was no chance to contact the interviewees again. So, I had no alternative but to use imaginary names in captions (since this was originally intended to be course-work). Many apologies to the people ooncerned (who, if they happen to watch this video, should kindly excuse this lapse. I am sure you will understand. Shall be better next time.)
Very informative! Thanks for sharing! The only problem was the shaky camera didn't allow us to see clearly what you were talking about. Are you going to upload any similar videos about other heritage sites?
