Sunrise in Nicosia, Cyprus (ΛΕΥΚΩΣΙΑ, ΚΥΠΡΟΣ)

Overlooking the rooftops of Nicosia, Cyprus, the sun emerges from the horizon. Natural sounds of the morning compliment the sunrise as a new day begins on this small island nation in the Mediterranean.

It was taken with a digital camera (limited to 80 sec capture time) without the use of a tripod.
