  • To the person who said 'your pronunciation (which you spelt incorrectly) and accent is really bad'. Really bad compared to what? I am an English Australian and I teach English in Prague in the Czech Republic. I make absolutely sure that my students are exposed to spoken English from a very wide range of sources. My students hear people with strong British regional accents, various North American accents, Australian and NZ accents and so on. The Indian accent is a perfectly ligitimate accent!

  • Although I'm a beginner in English, I think their opinions about her accent are legitimate asking in a way because I also have more troubles listening to her speaking than when hearing other native English speakers'. I believe most foreign students want to learn more standard English accent. ...But I can guess what you want to emphasize in spoken language. And your remaks as an English teacher about her accent also really encourage me to speak English in the future. Thanks for helpful advice :)
