  • I LOVE this movie; shows what buffoons the French were! For all their talk the French sank to new levels of bloodshed and depravity. Thank God for the English Channel and that Great Britain eventually saw the demise of the Corsican!!

  • @fairgirl7

This story really doesn´t have anything to do with Napoleon, you know...

  • Ian looks so bloody young! I know this was about 25 years ago but he doesn't look over 30 here. Does anyone know any shops which sell this(I know theres amazon but I have a weird phobia about that)?

  • That would depend a bit on where in the world you are... I came across this movie at my local post office.

  • Back from the good old days when an actor had to be able to do more than just act emo and look like a sullen douchebag all the time. (Edward Cullen I'm looking at you.)

  • I almost had a heart attack when I heard those guns, but I wasn't surprised when he came back. He's a genius after all.

  • @fairgirl7 The sons of those kind of frenchs became nazis.

  • Ian McKellen. Gandalf the Grey. King Lear. Richard II, X-Men ... he can do it all. Just as great a hero as a villain.

  • This is one of my favorite versions. Its the non musical one but I love the musical one as well. But aside from the films this has to be my favorite one. Anthony portrays Percy like how I read him to be in the book. <3

  • How come Magneto didn't just suck the sword out of his hand?

  • "Oh, the English and their STUPID sense of fair play!"

    I love that line!!

  • @fairgirl7 True! But the outcome of the violence and depravity of the French revolution was the rise of the Corsican; an ego so big that actually no body could contain the monster!

  • @Lammy4ever7 because she loves him and is worried that he's going to get hurt just when they finally understand one another

  • @KdogPrime Truer words have never been spoken
