1965 Dodge Coronet - Homebuilt Big Block Mopar

Here's a photo and video summary of my Dodge Coronet. See my other videos for the engine specs, but any questions, just ask. This is pretty much home-built except for the paint job! Looking forward to the next Mopar project, whenever/whatever that might be, but still a little ways to go on this one.

Shot with a Panasonic DMC-ZS3, and any pixelation in the video is due to the way I converted the raw file from .mov to .wmv so I could work in Windows Movie Maker. Could have been a little better...

@69moparman Thanks a lot for the comment! I knew from the start I wanted to chop open the hood and fenderwells, and the only wheels that would do it all justice would be something like what they ran back in the day. Funny to see people look at it sometimes who see where the headers are going, look into the front wheel well to verify, and then get that confused look - or I get asked all the time why the front and rear wheels don't match...

beautiful car. nice work. i hate to nit-pick, but you need to do something about those air cleaner studs - unless you plan to fly a flag on them. they seem a little long?

@rocker1210 If you have to explain the tires and rims, well ,,,,,,,,,,, they may not understand, as well they missed an era of drag racing that will not be experienced ever again.
