Swordfish Harpooning summer of 2010

We are harpooning Swordfish on Georges bank off the coast of Nova Scotia. These are some of the first ones in 2010 so we arn't right on our game but it works out well

@codyisdank Do you see anyone shooting a gun in this video? You are a dope. Harpoon fishing is the most sustainable clean way of commercial fishing. There is no damage to the environment, no bycatch and no undersized fish. The man on the pulpit is not a "sportfisherman" hurting fish for amusement he is a commercial fisherman supplying seafood to those not fortunate enough to be able supply their own seafood.

Out on the pulpit 100+ miles from shore in a small boat is FISHING at its finest.

I'm really sorry you miss understood me. I wrote as I felt at the moment. When I saw the beautiful ocean ,I just wanted to be there and not think about anything else. I understand that life as a fisherman is hard, as it is mine as a simple therapist. These are difficult times, plus there are assholes who get in the way and make your lives even more difficult, but my dear trust me I am not one of them! Good luck on your job and I wish you have always this kind of ocean that I see in this video.
