Denox rants on DSi Part 2 - My final thoughts on DSi

READ BEFORE VIEWING!

In this part, I'm explaining why the DSi is not needed for every DS fans pretty much and in my honest opinions, it's only great to have the DSi if you haven't owned the previous DS, for ppl that can't afford an expensive PC or digital camera, but the DSi has sum features like animations and DS Channel that are pretty unique and an internet browser, but frankly it's not necesary if you are a person who is used to animating, edit photos and using the internet on your laptop or desktop. And as for the DS Channel, it's awesome too, but if you have saved most of ur favorite retro Game Boy games in the past and they work, you don't need to spend DS points for it. Or if u have hacking skills. Overall, the DSi has many great updates for the DS, but not needed for everyone, all in one is good for ppl who wants to save lots of money to buy a camera, internet, etc all in that new DS. But I don't need it, so I'm not really ranting that much on it. Everyone has different opinions on the DSi so please don't bash me, DS fanboys. ^^;

Here is the soloution to the GBA delema if they add a Virtual Console for the DSi maybe people will stop bitching about it. Otherwise KEEP YOUR OLD SYSTEMS AND STOP COMPLAINING!

Of course I'll stay with my old systems, I have no problem with that. In fact, I'm not too mad at the DSi now, even thought I still don't need it. I think they should have a Virtual Console for the DSi, if they have a DSi channel now.

Games are expensive for a reason. It takes lots of people, lots of money, effort, and teamwork to make a game. It's obvious the can't just give them for free. So if you just hack your games, it's less money for the company. The more a game sells the higher chance it will get a part2. :) Also, just because I have a laptop or camera doesn't mean I don't need to get the dsi. It's more portable then my laptop. You have a point there, Kuro, I still will buy some DS games legally like Pokemon Platium and Kingdom Hearts DS when they come out and I believe too that what you said about games are expensive are true. Many ppl just don't appreciate that unfortenity. I mostly have the hack card cause obviously I won't be able to own all the DS games I want, so I only get the DS games legally that I want the most. Otherwise, I'll play it hacked.^^

There is no point to the DSi. I'm still a retro gamer. The camera is useless on the DSi, cause you can do that on a psp and digital camera. It's all just a filler so you can spend more money just like the psp go, blu ray and others.

Looks like somebody never played WarioWare: Snapped! They also making more DSi games that uses the cameras. Nintendo is very creative so don't doubt them too soon.

He may not have articulated it very well, but I completely agree with everything he said. I work at Gamestop and for days now I've been checking out the DSi. The "upgrades" are completely pointless and people will be bored of them after a day. No one will use them and we lost the gba slot for that? The DS is a gaming system. What the hell do cameras and sound editors have to do with gaming? Nintendo has lost its mind and has abandoned hardcore gaming for stupid smoke and mirrors.

gameboy is in the past and the dsi is made to be more fun its not supposed to replace your gameboy,camera,mp3,ets its supposed to be FUN get it?
