I'm just learning about airbrushes. Do you use a water-based, urethane, or some other paint? Which brand would you recommend for painting vinyl? Thanks.

let me ask you a question, i want to paint my door panel but i am not really sure if it is made of vinyl or not, i know i have some fabric on it and plastic, but the material on the arm rest and other part in the top corner is made of other type of material that i dont know what it is. so my question is how do i know how vinyl looks like?

I have a 1971 Plymouth Sport fury with a black vinyl dash. The dash has a few long cracks in it and is brittle to the touch where the dash speaker perferations are. Is there a fix for this? If so, how do you repicate the texture? Thank you
