Biography:
Yaya Oré real name Sidy Yaya Traore is a West African R&B singer-songwriter, record producer,piano composer and actor. Born and raised in Dakar, Senegal, he moves to Brooklyn, New York and than Knoxville, Tennessee where he attends his sophomore year at West High School. He was first exposed to music as a child but didn't start playing the piano and singing until his senior year. Yaya moves to California after graduation and starts attending Santa Monica College where he takes piano classes and singing lessons.

In 2007 he moves back to knoxville, TN, where he release his first album "Crazy Eyez". with the hit single "My life" featuring the members of the new york group M.O.E.T.

In 2010 he release two hit singles "Main Girl" and "Take off" that help grow his fan base.

After the success of his new singles Yaya deciedes to moves back to his native country where he is currently working on a new album for his now growing fans. He release a new single "Like You" a hit success in the local clubs in knoxville TN and on the radio, produced by Kossae, featuring Dirty Red and LoPro from the group T2L.

The success of his first single has established him as one of the most tallented new upcoming artists in the industry. He has also added acting to his repertoire. He get into the acting bussiness with background role in features such as "The terminal", "Pirates of the Carrebean" and "Dreamgirl" as a main background actor. He also starts in commecials for sony and a few short films as a side actor.

With over 5 languages under his belt, this young singer brings a unique voice in the industry. Some people compare him to Bob Marley and Alpha Blondy because of his melancholic voice, others to T-Pain, Akon and even John Legend and Pollo Da Don because of his piano compositions and music productions; but all agree that they can expect more from this talented young man. There is definitely a lot more in store from this unsigned artist and only the future will tell.
