  • Hi Michael

My mate who grew up in Hornsby in the 1960s and sat at Hornsby Staion waiting for trains for some 20 years, says closing his eyes when looking at te C30 model and I blow the Whistle, makes him feel like he is at Horsby Station again. In fact it was him that suggested I use the Peanut Whistle.

Sound is in the eyes of the beholder and very personal, what is great for one, is awful to another.

There won't be an "exact" Whistle for any NSW locos.

    Regards

    Marcus

  • Most of sound suits the 30 class, the only thing that doesn't is the whistle. It sounds nothing like a 30 class whistle, their whistles were much more high pitched.

  • How did you cram all the Loksound stuff inthere but i was recently listening to a 30 class. Sorry it's actually sounds alot like 3112. Poor loco sitting in Brambles siding in Canberra Great job anyway

  • Beautiful work mate. Nice loco but the whistle doesn't sound a thing like a 30
