This has got to be one of my favourite start -up tracks that I have heard in recent times. It is one of the most uplifting.

Wow! Nice music! I thought this and "The Journey" and "Just a Minute " were great racks , does this music have a name like the other two?

@MartinK303 Unfortunately the whole practice of schools television has ended on both BBC2 and Channel 4 as of 2010.

Am I the only one who remembers this?? Was it that long ago??

Its weird especially as when I was little, as young as 5 or 6, seeing this particular schools ident used to freak me out. Now i am 24 and have conquered my fear, I can't work out what the fuss was about. I never seen a mini start-up until the programmes started. Are there any more like this?
