First video test run of 1/16th scale Tamiya radio controlled model of a Panther 'G' on a very cold February afternoon. Still needed to finish the camouflage scheme and add numbers and markings at this stage. I have since fitted IMPACT metal tracks.

  • Cool, rc is also very cool! I just finished my design of a full scale 1:1 Hetzer. Build will start in mid april and it will be ready for a show in belgium 4 months later if all goes as planned

  • Looking forward to seeing it run.

  • geday are heng long rc 1:16 tiger 1s and panthers are any good and i think grompix1 told me that heng long tanks can be as good as tamiyas pleas reaspond

    thank u

  • The cheaper HenLong toy tanks are a good start in the hobby and you can upgrade them to almost Tamiya standard (at a cost). The Henlong 'Panther' does not look much like a real Panther; more like a 'PanTiger'! The other Henlong tanks look good though.

  • of all the tanks of ww 2 the panther is the best looking it looks like a main battle tank.

  • looks great ! What is the base color you used on the hull and road wheels? I like it,,,, nice work. Jeff

  • I always upgrade my tanks with metal tracks when i buy them i find the tracks supplied are pretty weak i always seem to lose them when operating on grass

  • nice tank, i want his ! :)

  • All you need is Panzerlied playing to go along with the video and you're all set ;)

  • @grompix1 The new Heng Long Panther G looks every bit as good as a Tamiya but it's not in the same league mechanically or electronically.

  • @dutchforces

Cool! Would love to take a look at it..Any links to some pics etc?

  • @Toyman07 sure did but it took way more time then i thought plus i have less time then i thought xD. Its made of a frame and drivingplates welded on to that so its a little heavy but thats nice. finding the right tracks was a little problem but they were shiped from the eastblock. got a 2,3L turbo diesel instaled :)

  • @dutchforces

So you ever went thru with it? The 1:1 Hetzer?

  • how much are tey and were can i buy one?
